After School Program
Young Explorers Club
The Young Explorers Club STEAM Lab After-School Program takes a holistic approach to education, offering a dynamic range of enrichment opportunities, including Creative Arts Workshops, hands-on STEM Lab sessions, inspiring Guest Speaker Presentations, and engaging Special Events.
Through project-based learning and collaboration, students create original works, explore real-world challenges, strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and develop innovative mindsets. Along the way, they build confidence, form meaningful friendships, and celebrate their unique strengths and achievements.
We are proud to provide a program that goes beyond traditional academics – empowering young learners to explore, discover, and thrive in every class.
Creative Arts Workshops
Partnering with local teaching artists, we offer a diverse range of creative courses, including visual arts, creative writing, theater, music and movement. Students explore art history and discover inspiring artists from cultures around the world, developing an appreciation for creativity across time and place.
Through hands-on art-making experiences, students learn to express themselves with confidence, experiment with new ideas, and embrace their unique voices. By engaging in the creative process, young learners build self-confidence, strengthen creativity and innovative thinking, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the arts as a powerful form of expression and learning.
STEM Lab
Our STEM Lab classes for elementary students explore a wide range of engaging topics, including science experiments, math challenges, computer science fundamentals, and robotics & engineering. We continuously develop new courses to keep pace with today’s rapidly changing world, introducing students to areas such as digital media and age-appropriate AI concepts and applications.
Through fun, interactive, and hands-on learning experiences, students design original creations, build real-world projects, and tackle meaningful challenges. Along the way, they strengthen creative problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, and innovative ways of learning – skills that will support them for years to come. In our STEM Lab, every child has the opportunity to become an inventor, scientist, engineer, and thinker, discovering the joy of learning by doing, experimenting, and exploring new ideas.
Special Events
Special events are a vibrant and essential part of our elementary curriculum. Throughout the year, we offer a rich variety of engaging social activities, including guest speaker sessions, collaborative group projects, field trips, holiday celebrations, community service initiatives, class performances and student presentations.
Through these diverse experiences, students broaden their horizons, strengthen teamwork and communication skills, build confidence in themselves and others, and create happy, lasting memories of a joyful childhood. These special moments make learning more exciting while helping children feel connected, valued, and proud of what they can accomplish together.

Creative Arts Workshops
Creative Arts Workshops
We partner with local teaching artists to provide inspiring opportunities for students to step on stage, create original works, and express themselves through guided workshops, open-ended projects, and engaging performances. Our teaching approach centers on the creative process, encouraging students to explore ideas, experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, and express themselves through imagination and innovation.

We believe the best way for children to learn is by doing. Our teaching strategies are grounded in exploration and collaboration. Students are encouraged to identify real-world problems, ask questions, and work together to design creative solutions. Through experimentation, students explore multiple strategies, test their ideas, learn from setbacks, and refine their work through reflection and improvement.

Special Events
Special Events
Our Special Events are designed to create joyful, memorable experiences while supporting students’ social and emotional growth. We design these experiences to encourage collaboration, communication, and positive social interaction. Special Events are some of the most beloved parts of our program because the best learning often happens when children are laughing, connecting, exploring, and celebrating together.
