Young Explorers Club
The Young Explorers Club Global STEAM Explorers After-School Program takes a holistic approach to education, offering a dynamic range of enrichment opportunities, including Creative Arts Studio, STEM Discovery Lab, and Special Project Adventures – Connecting Classrooms to Real-World Challenges & Across Cultures.
Through project-based learning and collaborative global experiences, students explore real-world challenges, develop problem-solving abilities, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and discover the excitement of learning and the joy of growing together.
We are proud to offer a program that goes beyond traditional academics — empowering young learners to explore, create, connect, lead, and thrive in every class.
Creative Arts Studio
Partnering with local teaching artists, we offer a diverse range of creative courses, including visual arts, creative writing, theater, music and movement. Students explore art history and discover inspiring artists from cultures around the world, developing an appreciation for creativity across time and place.
Through hands-on art-making experiences, students learn to express themselves with confidence, experiment with new ideas, and embrace their unique voices. By engaging in the creative process, young learners build self-confidence, strengthen creativity and innovative thinking, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the arts as a powerful form of expression and learning.
STEM Discovery Lab
Our STEM Discovery Lab classes for elementary students explore a wide range of engaging topics, including science experiments, math challenges, computer science fundamentals, and robotics & engineering. We continuously develop new courses to keep pace with today’s rapidly changing world, introducing students to areas such as digital media and age-appropriate AI concepts and applications.
Through fun, interactive, and hands-on learning experiences, students design original creations, build real-world projects, and tackle meaningful challenges. Along the way, they strengthen creative problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, and innovative ways of learning – skills that will support them for years to come. In our STEM Discovery Lab, every child has the opportunity to become an inventor, scientist, engineer, and thinker, discovering the joy of learning by doing, experimenting, and exploring new ideas.
Special Project Adventures - Connecting Classrooms to Real-World Challenges & Across Cultures
Special Project Adventures are a vibrant and essential part of the Young Explorers Club elementary curriculum. Throughout the year, our after-school enrichment and summer camp programs connect young learners in the United States with peers across Asia, including Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Each year, our Special Project Adventure highlights a featured country. Students collaborate on Global STEM Research Projects and Community Service Projects inspired by real-world challenges in that country. Along the way, they share their cultures and traditions, celebrate one another’s accomplishments, and build meaningful friendships across borders.
Our Special Project Adventures make learning exciting, meaningful, and memorable — helping children feel connected, valued, and proud of what they can accomplish together. Through these diverse, project-based global learning experiences, students broaden their global awareness, discover new perspectives, and explore exciting possibilities for future research and cross-cultural collaboration.

We believe the best way for children to learn is by doing. Our teaching strategies are grounded in exploration and collaboration. Students are encouraged to identify real-world problems, ask questions, and work together to design creative solutions. Through experimentation, students explore multiple strategies, test their ideas, learn from setbacks, and refine their work through reflection and improvement.

Special Project Adventures
Through hands-on projects, global STEM research, community service, and cross-cultural collaboration, students explore real-world challenges, exchange ideas with peers from diverse backgrounds, and build confidence to take on new challenges. These experiences empower young learners to grow into compassionate future leaders with a global perspective, valuable skills, and the confidence to make a positive difference in the world.
