Director Jen’s Vision for the Educational System
When I was a kid, I was a hardworking student, sat still in the classroom listening to the teachers every day, did homework until very late every night, tried hard to do well in each test to meet the expectations of my parents, like many kids in Asian countries. We did not have a chance to do hands-on projects, nor did we have a fun learning experience, but we did learn the importance of good education. Now as a parent myself, I am finding many families who have the same strong goals towards a wide array of learning and educational learning tools. We want our children to understand the importance of good education, have a fun learning experience, while building essential skills such as learning skills, social skills, and innovation skills. I often think there might be kids out there somewhere, who have talents to become tomorrow’s inventors, but who do not get a chance to enroll in the high quality educational programs to foster their talents and dreams. Education is the future of our children and the future of our country. We want to work with families, community groups, organizations, and companies to create a place where our children can explore, learn, practice, have fun and dream big dreams!
